Geotrading AD, part of the GEOTECHMIN Group, was given an award for its long-standing contribution to the Bulgarian mineral resources industry on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the company’s establishment. The prestigious award was given during the National Celebration of Miner’s Day.
The award was presented by Dr. Eng. Ivan Mitev, PhD, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Chamber of Mining and Geology, who stated: “Established in 2005 as part of the GEOTECHMIN Group and under the leadership of PhD Eng. Ivan Vutov, today Geotrading is recognised as a rapidly developing, secure and reliable partner in the trade of products for the mining industry both in Bulgaria and the Balkans.” Along with its business successes, the company is among the founders of the Bulgarian Virtues Programme.
Mr. Zhecho Stankov, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Bulgaria, gave the award to Mrs. Rumyana Ivanova, Executive Director of Geotrading AD. In her speech, Mrs. Ivanova addressed the audience: “On behalf of PhD Eng. Ivan Vutov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Geotrading AD, and the company’s team, I would like to thank you for this special award.”
At the ceremony, three more companies of the GEOTECHMIN Group were given awards for their achievements and contribution to the industry – Ellatzite-Med AD, Geostroy AD and Geoproject EOOD.
This award is a representation of the targeted efforts of Geotrading over the last twenty years to develop sustainably, to follow and implement the best trends and innovations in its commercial activity and social policy.
