The ProAuto Multifunctional Complex has been awarded the special prize at the Building of the Year 2021 national competition. The prizes were awarded to two of the GEOTECHMIN Group companies – the investor Geotrading AD and the main executor Geostroy AD, as well as to the architect Kiril Kutskov. The award – a certificate and a statuette, made by the sculptor Petko Moskov, were presented at an official ceremony on December 15.

“I would like to thank the main executor Geostroy AD, the architect Kiril Kutskov and all our partners, who participated in the construction of this green complex, certified to the BREEAM 2013 Standard”, said Mr. Ivan Donchev – member of the Board of Directors of Geotrading AD – upon receiving the award. On behalf of Geostroy AD, the statuette was received by eng. Yordan Yonov – Chief Construction Engineer at the company.

For the GEOTECHMIN Group companies, this award is an evaluation for the design and comprehensive execution of the ProAuto Multifunctional Complex. In June, it was certified to the British Standard for sustainable construction BREEAM 2013 with Very Good evaluation. The design, the building process and exploitation of ProAuto have been coordinated with environmental protection, and the used materials are eco-friendly in accordance with all BREEAM requirements. Over 44.3% of the energy in the complex is provided by renewable sources. There is extremely rich greenery in the complex’s territory – 8,404 sq. m have been covered by various plant species. Several eco-friendly solutions have been implemented in the complex and excellent conditions for work and rest have been created for the employees. ProAuto Multifunctional complex has become home for the headquarters of several companies from the GEOTECHMIN Group, including Geotrading, Geoohrana, ITR Services, Energeo and Explosiveprogress – GTM.
